Mission Statement: The mission of the Day Care and Child Development Council is to promote the healthy development of children and families in Tompkins County, by: providing resources and services, advocating for the continuous improvement of healthy child development and providing pro-active leadership in the community. In promoting the healthy development of children and families, the various program activities of the agency are aimed at enhancing the quality of care that children receive and the environments in which they grow up, whether in home, child care, school or neighborhood settings.

We are a progressive, forward-thinking organization dedicated to promoting business in our region by being the community's nexus.
